The chances of rain increase throughout the week
The North Texas weather will remain hot and muggy for the next few days. Chances of rain are pretty low tonight and Tuesday with most areas expected to be dry.
Increased chance of rain will return by Wednesday and last through the weekend as several fast-moving systems affect North Texas. The biggest chance of rain will be on Friday over the weekend. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely on those days. If you have outdoor plans for graduation or Mother’s Day, you should have a plan B just in case. The rain could be heavy with some potential flooding. Thankfully the threat of severe storms will be quite low.
There are signs of a pattern change by early next week, ending the chances of rain.
