Allen Outlets Shooting Victims: What We Know

ALLEN, Texas – Eight people were killed and seven others were injured in a mass shooting on Saturday afternoon at the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas.

As the investigation into the shooter continues, we’re learning more about the victims of the shooting.

Christian La Cour

Family members identified 20-year-old Christian LaCour as one of the victims killed in the shooting.

LaCour’s mother said he was working as a security guard at the mall when the gunman opened fire.

LaCour grew up in Farmersville.

Aishwarya Thatikonda

Aishwarya Thatikonda’s family members confirmed she was one of the victims killed on Saturday.

The 27-year-old lived in McKinney and worked as a project manager for a local contracting company.

His family lives in India and is traveling to the United States

Cho family

Three of the victims killed in Saturday’s shooting belonged to one family.

FOX 4 has confirmed that three members of the Cho family were among the victims killed.

Their 5-year-old son William is currently in intensive care.

The children of the family attended Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Daniela and Sofia Mendoza

Wylie ISD confirmed that two of his students were killed in the shooting.

Fourth grader Daniela Mendoza and second grader Sofia Mendoza attended Cox Elementary School in Sachse.

“Words cannot express the sadness we feel as we mourn the loss of our students. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mendoza family, the families of the victims and all those affected by this senseless tragedy,” he said the district in a note.

Cox Elementary principal Krista Wilson called the two girls “rays of sunshine.”

“Daniela and Sofia were the kindest, most thoughtful students with smiles that could brighten up any room,” Wilson said in a statement.

The school district says the girls’ mother, Ilda Mendoza, is currently in critical condition.

The sisters took lessons from cheerleader Wylie Elite.

Gym says yellow was the girls’ favorite color.
