KPRC 2 Pet Project: meet Lasso, the puppy ready to capture your heart

HOUSTON – Lasso has a sweet personality and is looking for a loving family.

It was abandoned on a property and later rescued. Lasso was shy when he first came to the Houston Humane Society, but the kind people at the Behavior Rehabilitation Center helped him come out of his shell and show his big personality.

Lasso is a shepherd mix who loves toys and is very silly. He is learning to play fetch and wants to show his new family his skills! Lasso is also cuddly.

If you are interested in welcoming Lasso into your home, you can quickly start the adoption process by filling out this shape.

Follow-up of the KPRC 2 Pet project: Peaches

Peaches have found a new home. (Houston Humane Society)

Peaches found her forever home thanks to KPRC and the event: Empty The Shelters by the Bissell Pet Foundation. Peaches’ new owner loved how kind she was to KPRC 2’s Khambrel Marshall. The pup’s new owner is retired, so she was hoping to adopt a pet to give him love.

Other animals available for adoption:
