Traffic clears at I-10 and Loop 1604 on the northwest side of San Antonio
A police incident briefly disrupted traffic near the Rim Shopping Center on Monday evening.
SAN ANTONIO – A police incident caused a severe traffic jam that chased commuters for approximately two hours on Interstate 10 just north of Loop 1604 on the northwest side.
Officers were working on the scene, which started before 5pm near the Rim shopping center. There was no confirmation as to the cause of the crash, but SAPD all lanes said they were open again starting at 18:00
The on-ramp from I-10 at La Cantera Parkway and the on-ramp from Camp Bullis have been closed, San Antonio police said.
