Police are investigating after a child was hit by a vehicle in The Colony, officials say
THE COLONY, Texas — An investigation is underway after a child was allegedly hit by a vehicle in The Colony, officials said.
According to the Colony Police Department, officers responded to the incident at approximately 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the intersection of Main Street and Memorial Drive.
Police said emergency medics from the Colony Fire Department were called to the scene but did not release any information regarding the victim’s condition or whether the driver involved would face charges.
Crews have shut down the intersection as Colony Police Department incident investigators work to determine what happened.
